Rwby Multiverse Tomorrow and Never Again

"The war has torn Remnant autonomously. The Hunters take failed and Grimm lay siege to the urban center. Everyone we know and love are gone. Simply at that place was still a take a chance to set this correct. A chance to change things... for amend or for worse. And sadly, the simply candidate left was the weakest among them. But peradventure... information technology was enough. "

In this RWBY story past Paulxion, the story starts during the finale of Volume 3 specifically effectually episode 9 the Fall of Buoy and Vale went from bad to worse. But put, during the prologue implies that Penny was hacked and destroying Atlas, Mistral, and Vacuo airships, Team RWBY went missing, the White Fang, hacked androids, and Grimm besieged all of Vale, and the Huntsman of Beacon were down to their last few survivors. Jaune, in the thick of the boxing, was saved from death by Raven. Using her powers, she sliced a rift in time and entrusted Jaune with the job of changing the past and protect her daughters Yang and Ruby so the loop doesn't happen again. Jaune suddenly wakes up on the floor of an airship simply in time for his outset twenty-four hour period at Buoy University...

The story and so becomes instance of a subverted Peggy Sue: despite Jaune returning from an apocalyptic hereafter, he doesn't have whatsoever of the futurity memories associated to similar works. Instead, Jaune is all the same like his catechism counterpart with but a couple but meaning differences: substantial amounts of aura, above average combat skill, and Blackness Dust. As a result, Jaune and the balance of the RWBY cast start to take a more proactive response/arroyo towards old/canon and new events and relationships established past the canon, leading to many deviations especially leading upward to canon Volume 3 finale that fundamentally changes the mail-Volume 3 setting.

Here, Jaune is a very competent Huntsman, with Jaune'southward teachers Oobleck, Port, Ozpin, Ironwood, and Glynda (reluctantly) acknowledging that Jaune is a prodigy. His Leadership, Aura Levels, Semblance, and skills take all increased, and his arsenal is expanded with the inclusion of Ironwood's Hand Cannon and Wilt and Blush.
  • Adaptational Heroism: In canon, Raven is a Social Darwinist who is firmly against involving herself in Ozpin'south Secret War. Hither, she is unambiguously heroic, and the reason Jaune was able to back in time in the first place.

  • Hated past All: Cinder used contradistinct footage of Jaune and Cherry "murdering" Full general Ironwood and make them look responsible for the Fall of Beacon and Vale. Naturally, the Vale Council decided to use Jaune as a scapegoat to redirect the focus of its citizen's, and by extension the world'south, hatred towards him. So, imagine everyone's surprise when he not only turns upward alive during the Battle of Beacon, merely sporting a new robotic arm.
  • Spared by the Accommodation: Due to the divergent timeline created by Jaune influencing the canon timeline with his deportment. This includes:
    • Roman: (Saved by Adam from Prison between Volumes ii and 3 and later past Neo from the Vytal Stadium.)
    • Penny: (Cherry-red stopped the friction match between Pyrrha and Penny due to Jaune buying time against Mercury and Roman.)
    • Pyrrha: (Pyrrha did not face Cinder and was occupied with the remainder of the teams escaping Beacon.)
    • Ozpin: (saved by Summer and Raven during the Fall of Beacon.)
    • Amber: (Jaune and Cerise manage to rescue Amber out of the Vault nether Buoy, averting her expiry from Cinder)
    • Vernal: (She'south actually the Spring Maiden here and was plant past Qrow, Oobleck, and Port rather then killed past Cinder.)
    • Summertime: Summer is live in the story and currently traveling with Raven. Her survival is attributed to her Silver Eyes causing an incident and then being reported missing for so long that everyone but Qrow, Raven, Ozpin, and Jaune (unknowingly) knows of her survival.
  • Violence Is Disturbing: Despite being rated Yard+, there are multiple examples of rather bloody or heartbreaking and violent scenes during the class of the story.

    • Jaune delivering a Mercy Kill towards General Ironwood to prevent him from being corrupted from Parasite Grimm was not an piece of cake sight for Carmine and specially Jaune.

"It was not a clean kill. The sound of mankind coming together steel was never enticing. In fact, one might say that it was disgusting in all manners. The blade went through and with it, blood splattered on the boy. His face up, his hair, even his armor was soaked. Not a single flake of him was untainted by that color. Ruby cringed as she watched the whole scene play before her. Her eyes moved abroad on reflex just she forced herself to see information technology. She etched every moment of that kill into her mind and memorized every detail. She all the same gasped and held her oral fissure in response. But kept herself composed all the same".

"When Glynda took a quick scan on her surroundings she immediately recalled seeing a beautiful reception here with flowers and decorations. She remembered seeing thousands of invitee-filled chairs, food tables and enough colors to make a rainbow jealous. At that place was a cute anniversary held hither honoring a great human being and an equally beautiful speech being said. But now it has turned into a warzone, an arena for survivors and a tomb for the innocent. Piles of bodies littered across the floor, tables and chairs uplifted while giant bonfires burned out of command. The sprinklers that activated barely held them at bay while gunfire echoed incessantly in all corners. There were people running around, some screaming while a few others cradled onto their loved ones with claret soaked tears tracing down their cheeks".
